Loving Hands, Inc. has created a home that is safe and caring, like the way your parents took care of you. Loving Hands, Inc. offers personalized assistance in a residential home setting for those who cannot or do not wish to live alone. We can also assist those caregivers who just need to take some time off from their care giving responsibilities. Loving Hands, Inc. has 1 private and 4 semi-private bedrooms.
An Elderly Person's Service
Our facility has been set up to provide a special "care giving" service for your
parents and grandparents. We realize how difficult and draining it is to care for your
parents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without relief in sight.
We offer personal care, daily grooming, dressing and help if needed with daily routines.
We provide home cooked meals, served family style in our group dining
room. We have a special arts and crafts room, a central living room for reading, socializing, including entertainment such as music, movies, and available
on special occasions, an organist for sing-alongs. For our overnight guests,
short or long term, you may select a private room or choose to share a
semi-private room. We include laundry services for those guests.
We feel your parents or grandparents will truly enjoy this facility. It is a converted Southern
Colonial Estate featuring large fireplaces, spacious rooms, large windows, a foyer with
a grand spiral staircase and an open veranda all adding to the feeling of home.
Safety
Not only are we concerned about providing a home life, we are also concerned about safety. This facility is protected by an alarmed secuity system for wanderers. We also have an emergency lighting system, fire escapes, and two separeate means of egresses. We have installed a chair lift for those guests staying overnight on the second level. We have a tub mate to protect against falls while bathing or showering.
About Us
We are a privately owned and funded corporation - having four board members. Our care is provided by experienced care givers having more than 10 years experience each. On staff we have certified nurses aides and a full time LPN. We have a registered nurse and a physician on call for emergencies.
